This September, Leo Messenger launched primary payment functionality inside its messaging application. The new feature allows messenger users to pay for sticker packs. Focusing on private and seamless communication, the team plans to create advanced payment possibilities for the users in the next year and a half. It must cover all basic needs like paying utility bills or ordering bus tickets.
“As we continue to grow, our mission remains clear: to create a secure and seamless communication platform that connects people and simplifies their daily lives. The introduction of in-app payments is a step forward. We’re excited to offer our users new possibilities, starting with the ability to purchase sticker packs directly within the app.
Looking ahead, we’re committed to expanding these capabilities to cover essential services, such as utility bills or mobile payments. We aim to build a system where communication and everyday transactions merge effortlessly,” commented Alona
Shevtsova, CEO of Leo Messenger.
The dev team plans to integrate messaging, payments, e-commerce, and more into a single platform, bringing multifunctionality. Leo Messenger is designed with a global audience in mind, offering robust encryption and privacy features that cater to users who prioritise secure communication. The first steps towards in-app payments mark the beginning of a broader strategy to integrate essential services into its platform.
“At Leo Messenger, our vision has always been to create a platform beyond simple communication. We have successful examples of such tech products known worldwide. But having a different vision in mind, we believe in creating a meaningful product for the European market,” commented Yevhen Novyk, Product Owner of Leo Messenger.
The Leo Messenger app is free to download from the Apple Store and Google Play markets.
